We had genetic testing. My son has a seperate insurance through MRDD called BCMH

(Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps). It only covers 1 diagnosis. Its

very helpful too. I'd look into that. See if your area has something like that.

Genetic testing

Has anyone ever had genetic testing done and if so were you able to

get insurance to cover it? Any info would be appreciated.

My daughter Riley had genetic testing thru the Walsh Lab in Boston as they do

research on the brain malformation. It was free.christina

Both my son (different dx) and daughter have had genetic testing done and

whatever our private insurance didn't cover their crippled childrens covered.

Does your child have crippled childrens insurance?
