Guest guest
Hello, My son Mason is 7 & he just started baclofen about 3 weeks ago for muscle tightness in his legs. He does have seizures & it seems like he might be having more seizures from the baclofen. It's hard to say because many things can cause him to have increases in seizures. My biggest concern is that he has been very sleepy & extremely dried out & congested. He is on robinal & I have had to give him less because his tongue is so dry it looks so uncomfortable. And, I have asked 3 different doctors about this and they Ll said they had never heard of baclofen causing dry mouth. I wanted to see if anyone else has a child on baclofen & if so are they on robinal as well & did it give them dry mouth. I just want to make sure mason isnt having some kind of bad reaction to the baclofen. The doctor said his throat was red but he doesn't have an infection. I'm just very confused with what his going on & since the doctors don't know I thought I should ask this group. If anyone has any input or advice I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Chrissy
