Guest guest Posted January 7, 2007 Report Share Posted January 7, 2007 Hi, I am just wondering if anyone is using amantadine? What has been done in research in the autism field with this drug? Does the NNY clinic use it or Dr. G. or have used it at any time? From my clueless knowledge valtrex works on DNA viruses and amantadine works on RNA viruses. I know parents are taking their children to one Dr. that uses amantadine with autistic children and they said it has helped as far as focus and hyperactivity. Some are using valtrex and amantadine.
