Guest guest
Caroline-My son also has autism and epilepsy and I would also like to know how to get the article so I could show it to my son's neurologist. The study shows that the immune connection has everything to do with our children's conditions. Guest guest
Gayle, Here's the link... http://www.neuro.jhmi.edu/neuroimmunopath/epilepsy.htm Unfortunately, the article is sort of an overview of findings but doesn't list a set of references. I have no doubt they exist, though... an e-mail or phone call to JH to find out who did the studies might be a good way to find out. If you click on the " Laboratory Members " link on the above page, it lists the main researchers in the neuroimmunopathology lab at JH, and below those folks, it lists these people as collaborators in the area of epilepsy... Anne Comi, MD Freeman, MD Kossoff, MD Eileen P. Vining, MD Good luck!
