Guest guest
Hello. I'm new to this group. My 8 y.o. son Pedro is autistic and we live in Brazil. I think Pedro has classical autism (from birth) rather than acquired. His mother had pre-eclampsia and he was born with 31 weeks and with very low body weight. He never spoke and he is still very thin. His MRI is normal. On the other hand, he used to have a warmer than normal skin temperature when he was a toddler (but not fever), exams showed low iron and low ferritin, high blood lead, and almost every food or supplement makes him hyper. He also suffer from nose congestion, even after we improved his environment. Once, the doctor gave him prednisone for a respiratory allergy and his behavior improved. I've already treated him with probiotics and anti-fungals, what made him much less hyperactive, but his cognition and language are very poor. All this make me think he has an immune problem related to his autism. What do you think? I would like to treat him with Dr. Goldberg protocol, but it seems the only way to do that is by visiting Dr. Goldberg in his clinic. Am I right? Could you tell me what you would do if you were me? Any comment would be appreciated. Thanks a lot, Lucena
