Guest guest
> Brazil is great if you have no complications. If you have > complications though, it sucks. ========================= Just throwing my 2 cents in to muddy the pot. You can have complications anywhere (US, Brazil...anywhere) and you can have complications with ANY surgeon. It's just part of the risk. However...if you have a complication it sure is a whole lot better to have your surgeon local and able to work on fixing the complication and follow up on your extended recovery. If your surgery is out of country, it can be really hard to get a local surgeon to " clean-up " another surgeons patient suffering with complications. If you have to pay an American surgeon to follow-up on a complication, it could cost you more than having had the surgery in America in the first place(as a general rule with American Plastic Surgeons, follow-up on plastics are included in the price of surgery for 6 months). People are getting great results in Brazil. But you HAVE to consider the possibility of complications, and how that would be handled. This a question you need to be asking yourself and your Plastic Surgeon, regardless of what Country.
