Guest guest
HI Chrissy, Congrats on your new baby! I think going back to school is a great idea. However, given the current needs of your kids, you might want to consider doing one on line class per semester until your baby is older. Nursing is one of those careers that you will definately find work, so that is a bonus! Post partum depression is rough. Give yourself time. Do all the basics to take care of yourself--eat right, hydrate, take vitamins, sleep when you can, spend time with people who are good to you, exercise....you will pull out of it. And if you feel like you are not, there are counselors who specialize in that. I feel for you! Best of luck, Thea Going back to school Hello group, I wanted to get some advice from the group about going back to school. I have 2 children. One is my son Mason who has PMG and is severally disabled and requires 24 hour care. He does have nursing but requires many Dr's appointments as well. My other is my daughter Cayden who is only 5 months and does not sleep through the night yet. I am getting laid off in April because my company is relocating and I am considering going back to school for nursing. I want to have more knowledge for my son and I'd like a job that has more flexible hours and of course more pay. I was wondering if anyone else is going to school or considering it and how you are handling it. I've been having a lot of anxiety over this and I am also suffering from post pardum depression so its not going to be easy. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
