Hello Don,

As always, thank you for your helpful response. I'm just trying to

get ALL of my body back into whack if you will :)

I've been off of them for just over a year (a couple months and a

year). Previous to that, i went on them for 5 years, mainly to

regulate irregular and excruciatingly painful menstruation. Since

being off, they have gone back to the irregularity and painfulness.

I'll see what I can do about the tonic and I've already got some of

the herbs.

Thanks Don.

Love and light,

Painful menstruation, due to dysmenorrhea, is very easily treated by

adding in warming herbs into your monthly regimen prior to the onset of

menstruation. Warming herbs can be cayenne, ginger is excellent for

this. Make yourself up some ginger tea to drink. I think you will find

that this may help with the pain.

You can also try this one for painful menstruation, it hasn't been tried

for menstrual pain that may be caused by ovarian cysts or anything

however. If someone does try this for that I would be very happy to hear

about the outcome and experience.

2 parts each of yarrow, wild yam, chamomile

1 part each of raspberry leaf, ginger

1/2 part each of hops, mugwort

1/8 part of cayenne

Makes a hot tea that works really quickly.

Fresh ginger works fine (or at least I think so- cause that is how i drink it...) sometimes I dry some to keep capsules around also.

Cayenne... you can use powder if that is all you have.

Thank You Don!After all of this, I started suddenly and the pain was so bad last night, that I ended up curled up in a ball, and crying myself to sleep. It is the worst it has ever been. I'm planning on getting on the ginger tea asap (read: this evening). Would fresh ginger work well for tea? And as for cayenne, if I do not have the peppers to make a tincture, powdered would work somewhat well? Thanks for your thoughts and advice. They are very much appreciated. I plan on getting together the herbs for the other tea for next round :)love and light, Anne> > =================================> Painful menstruation, due to dysmenorrhea, is very easily treated

Hi ,

OUCH!! Fresh ginger makes the best I think. Nothing quite like it. As

for cayenne?, well the powder works wonderfully well. Do let me know if

this helps you.

Peace be with you . Warm yourself up. :-)
