*Ahh.. we are struggling with the same issue but Brie doesn't have full

control of her head yet. She is getting there, but last week we were coming

back from her appt and I told my daughter that I couldn't find Brie's head!

We pulled over, and her head had fallen over the side of the seat! :( We

did ask her physiatrist about it, and apparently there are adaptive car

seats or some contraption that adapts to regular car seats maybe? We have a

follow up appt this month to get more info, but it sure makes me nervous in

the mean time. She is still in the weight limit for the carrier but not the

length and she is almost at the max weight. *

We have the Snug Seat Travelier Plus by Britax for special needs.  Its

amazing.  We want to donate it locally because it is so heavy, I cannot ship

it.  I think its nearly 30LBS.

Is anyone using a regular car seat? My son will soon outgrow his infant seat.

He has good head control, but still working on it. He is not sitting up yet and

he has a small head for his age. Finding a car seat has been difficult. Any

suggestions? Thank you, Julissa

*I'm sure it could be shipped via UPS. And I for one, would be happy to pay

for the shipping to have it! But Julissa posted first:)

*If Julissa isn't interested, I certainly would be. I would need final

approval from my daughter and they are on a cruise but I should hear from

there soon. I could definitely pay for the shipping via paypal. Just let me

know:)

I'm having exactly the same problem, we are using a good solid car seat that has

good padding, but her head has fallen out to the side a couple of times. I'm

also talking to the services here to try and get some help, no luck so far. I

have ended up padding the sides with cloth nappies and a sleeping wedge, not the

best but has worked so far, but I worry if we were in even a minor accident

where I had to slam on the brakes, how would her head handle it.

Bit of a worry. I hope they can come up with something!

I have having the same problem with my daughter. She is 10 months old, and has

macrocephaly. Her head control is ok...but not great! I just tried to put her in

my sons old car seat, graco 365, but her head completely falls to one side. We

have a great program at our Children's hospital where we can take her in & they

find a carseat that will properly fit her & thats for special needs children, &

will install it! Maybe check with your local children's hospital to see if

they have a similar program...?
