Lina,

How about I answer for you?  She is normal for her -- and that is all that

matters.  I know the frustration you are going through, because I do it all the

time. Every little twitch, a far off look, any of those could mean a

seizure.....but, you know what, I've just decided that what is going to happen

is going to happen. We can't change it.  It's like a flow of rapids -- we are

just along for the ride and to keep from crashing into the big rocks. So hold

on, and go with it!

Dear all,

Am bored of asking myself everyday about any single movement of Lana " is this

normal " I don't want to ask this frustrating question everyday.

I promised myself not to ask it again!!

She is normal but in deferent standards!!!!

Bonnie,

I don't know about positive, but I do not it is what gets me through.  Cause

there are days when I am TIRED...exhausted...but then I think of the

alternative. What if we didn't have these children??  And, with seizures and

everything else, that is a real thought......From that I have figured out my own

way of coping......

Hi Lina,

I totally know what you mean. I think I'm kind of over the constant study of my

son at this point but I did probably spend the first 12 months at least watching

everything he did and wondering the same thing. He's 19 months and doing amazing

right now, throughout his many medical issues. But I constantly need to remind

myself to take it all one day at a time. And like said, I try to

appreciate all that he can do, which luckily for us is a lot. It's also tricky

because he has an older sister who was quite ahead of her curve so my " normal "

training was the opposite of what I'm dealing with now. Patience and full

excitement at every milestone met is what I'm working on right now.
