Guest guest
This sounds like ADHD and sensory processing disorder. I wonder if a neuropsych eval or an OT or behavior therapist that is familiar with sensory issues.Diane To: polymicrogyria From: ajh282001@... We notice it more when we increase our sons seizure medication. One of our behavior neurologists put our son on Effexor which helped for a while. We have used a soft helmet. When we put it on him he stops banging his head. It must be behavioral but we don't always want to keep a helmet on our son. Any ideas? Guest guest
Im sorry you are going through this. I cant provide any help- other than to say I know you are holding in there as best you can, searching for a reason or solution, its all incredibly hard for all of us. Maybe im over-sharing in an inappropriate place. I only know my 10 year old son (with PMG) gets angry and frustrated throughout the day. He also wakes up almost every-night this season, playing, in the dark. He only hits the wall repeatedly when he has to pee or poop. Or if hes hungry at 6 AM. Im probably no help. Just sharing. ________________________________ To: polymicrogyria Sent: Wednesday, February 8, 2012 6:42 PM Subject: RE: 7 year old Son keeps banging his head on wall This sounds like ADHD and sensory processing disorder.
