Guest guest
Hi. My son started Nizoral for the first time 5 days ago and has watery diarrhea. He is also on Valtrex, but that has been for a month with no problems. I was wondering if this could be part of the yeast die off? not just a side effect. Guest guest
Hi Sharolyn - It certainly sounds like die-off, especially with the timing. Is he also on probiotics to be re-establishing some good flora? If the big-D lasts past two weeks, then you will need to pursue other possibilities, but likely this is it. The folks at Dr G's office can give you diet instructions to relieve the watery stuff. Diet could exacerbate it some, but again, timing is likely die-off.
