Hello, everyone.

It has been a while... I am researching an orthodontic appliance to

help with drooling and I found some interesting info, I would like to

know if anyone has tried this before.

We are probably going to try this with our son, , who is 7

years old w/PMG and drools a lot.

Please let me know if you have had any experiences with this or

similar appliance (this is known in Europe as the Castillo Morales

Stimulating Plate).

Here is an interesting article from a mom with a 13 years old son

with CP that has used this appliance.

Thanks

Deborah

Hi Deborah,

I have not heard of this appliance but am intrigued. Please let us

know more if you come across more information. My son is 3

and we have tried the Artane. It hasn't done much. It isn't enough

for me to consider a surgery at this point. I am always interested

in effective alternatives.

Thanks for giving the heads up on this.
