Levels of Recovered

I understand and agree with most of you. My daughter has had speech, some OT

and we did AIT via cd's. She was dx PDD at just before 3. She was reading

phonetically before then and quick speaking. She was in PPCD for 1 1/2 years

then in Pre K at 4 then K at 5 and 1-6 in regular ed classes with no speech and

with stems. She could do the work, but not without echolalia at times and not

without stemming. She melts down when someone cries (we have AIT cd's thank

for that). She always had a one on one aide. She cannot write a sentence, she

doesn't create her own sentences. She does not hold a conversation.

So, I think there needs to be levels of recovered. My daughter blends in

until she starts posturing or hears someone cry and its over.

I am searching for something I can invest and try on her. I do not want to

invest wrongly or blindly. If kids are really very unique even with Autism I

have to be picky.

Anyway, thanks for all of your input!
