Guest guest Posted December 21, 2008 Report Share Posted December 21, 2008 My son dakota is 5 and has bpp. we have been in the hospital for almost 3 weeks because he had been having bloody stools and he had alot of protien and blood levels drop because of this and now they say he had either crohns disease or ulcerative colitis too. i was wondering if anyone else on here has been through the same thing because these are both genetic things as well i wondered if there is some kind of connection. It has been really hard he had enough to deal with and now he has something else that will effect him for the rest of his life. He is finally getting better when we first brought him in i thought we were going to lose him but he is now up and running around they just want his levels to go up more before he will get to go home. Now that he is doing better i thought i would see if anyone has had some thing even similar with their child any info would be appricated.
