Guest guest
Hello, I've read about the use of Minocycline, an antibiotic, for brain inflammation in autism. I think this research is being done by Dr. Pardo from s Hopkins University. I know minocycline is also used in Marshall Protocol, for auto-immune diseases. Does anybody know about it? Thanks. Guest guest
Just my own experience... I tried it personally and didn't find it nearly as helpful in symptoms as doxycycline. Unfortunately those meds aren't used much for children .... Dr Goldberg says he won't use them because it's too hard on a developing child's bones. It may work great for a few and I bet there will be a subclass that respond really well. Dr G said this is not a suitable med for a child. > > > Hello, > > > > I've read about the use of Minocycline, an > > antibiotic, for brain > > inflammation in autism. Guest guest
Hi Janet, I started Minocycline and 400mg of Celebrex just a month ago. I think my RA is getting worse by the day. I have break through every day. One of my new bionic hips is very painful, I think the RA has settled there. I was told the mino. takes a long time to work, like 4 to 6 months. I guess you could try it before moving on to stonger meds. Try the support group here called rheumatic. They have success stories about the minocycline. > > > Does anyone take Minocycline?
