Guest guest
My son (age 7 now....how did that happen?) developed a rash on his face ... bumps ... and I really do not remember when, but just remember them being there, maybe in September. Nothing changed in his diet and we had not started any new meds recently. He had been " off " for a couple of months....nothing too specific, just defiant, cranky, irritable almost all of the time, the bumps on his face, and post nasal drip. I remember him being less irritable on Prozac than Paxil (which we switched to in July), so over the Christmas school break, Dr G said we could switch back. Guess what? Right....the bumps on his face are fading DAILY! This is the only thing that has changed. I think they came on so gradually with the Paxil switch last summer that I never associated it with Paxil. (Now to see if the post nasal drip clears too!) Oh and yes my happy kid is back too. Just wanted to share this with other parents in case it may help. I guess you never know for sure when a med might build up enough in the system to cause a reaction. Happy New Year and good helath everyone!
