Guest guest
I know lots of kids who are using LDN...some love it and some don't, typical! But for those who use it, they have seen some serious gains. I asked Pfeiffer (Dr. ) about it and he said it was perfectly safe. Aimee > > I chceked this site out. It does sound great. Guest guest
Please let us all know what he says re. this? It will save time with more of us asking this question of him. I was going to ask him during our phone conversation. Guest guest
Just thought I would jump in here. My son is currently using LDN and I am on their group where Dr McCandless answers questions. We have seen great things in a short amount of time in language and relating. SHe says it takes about 6 months to see the full effect on the immune system. I would encourage anyone to at least take a look at the information. It is one of the best things we have done in a while. CHeryl --- nancy ballard <atlantickayaker@...> wrote: > That is great! Tresa if you remember to can you post > what he says on the board. Guest guest
When I was looking into the nids protocol I went to his website and looked through all of the old chats. I think I saw where Dr. G had used low dose naldextrone. Not sure why he didn't continue it, but don't think he at one time was against it. I'll go back and look throught the old chat just to make sure.

I guess the " low dose " is what I remembered.
Guest guest
Okay wait a minute, I went back and spelled it naltrexone and he did comment on this. He did say he had used it in the past. I don't think he would be against trying it. Go to his website and do a search for naltrexone.
Guest guest
Dr. G is promoting smoking? Just kidding....nicotene patches are good for ocd....hmmmm.....but those patches can irritate the skin, and the kids will pull them off. > > > > When I was looking into the nids protocol I went to his website and > > looked through all of the old chats. Guest guest
Don't laugh. Wellbutrin, which an anti-depressant and OCD medicine (and one Dr G presecribes to some of his patients usually with a low dose SSRI) is a derivation of the anti-smoking drug Zyban. In fact I think the active chemical is the same. Maybe this is what is in nicotine pathes too. Does anyone know what the active chemical is in Naldextrone?
