Guest guest
Every child is different. Some benefit from some protocols and some don't. Coversely to some stories, our son has definitely improved with Dr. G's protocol where he has not improved with other doctors we've tried in the past. We as parents always have to do what we think is best for our children, and sometimes this includes doing things that are untraditional. Alot of the negative criticism against Dr. G comes from very traditional schools of thought. But with autism, there is nothing traditional or conservative about it. For me, I will do anything and everything to make my child better because he is already a mess (physically and mentally). If using certain medications that some doctors feel are dangerous, I am still going to try it because either way it is a lose lose situation. By taking that chance with Dr. G, for us, we have seen improvement. Please remember every child is different, perhaps Dr. G's protocol isn't for everyone. It still does not mean his protocol doesn't work, it just works for some. It sounds like you are exploring and doing what you think is best for your child. Follow your parental instincts. That is all we really can do, right? God Bless. >From: dazseaton@... >Date: 2007/04/30 Mon PM 02:25:10 CDT > >Subject: Re: Re: ? > >I have been on again off again with what to do for my son.
