Guest guest
When I got mono, I was told that there are two kinds. One kind that is re-curring. In other words it just sits there and waits until your a little run down or haven't had enough sleep and it re- occurs. They said that I'd notice it if I didn't get enough sleep. I did notice that I could not handle a lack of sleep the same way that others do. I was so tired that I'd just cry. I wasn't just tired, but, also sick. No one actually helped me to resolve the problems or the illness. During early college when other kids were up all hours and acting crazy...I couldn't do it. Always had to get atleast nine hours to survive. I'd be interested to see how a type protocol would work. Seems that there should be some sort of anti-viral in place or something. I think that over the years, I've had less of a problem. Or, maybe I'm just used to it. Hopefully, my immunity has kicked in. > > my older (15)daughter has mono now, hopefully my son will not get it > although long incubation time so we don't know yet ...instead of a > reinfeciton,as it were, would it be that he just never cleared the ilness in > the first place and it manifested itself of and on for a long period??----- > Original Message ----- > From: " " <thecolemans4@y...> > " " < > > Sent: Tuesday, January 24, 2006 9:12 PM > Subject: Anyone experience repeat infections of mono? > > > > Hi all - > > > > I spoke to a lady today whose son had several > > infections with mono since age 11, like every two > > years and at one or more times every year, along with > > the enlarged spleen, etc. He also had multiple strep > > infections as a younger child.
