Guest guest
Doris and all, It's great to know that at least someone is trying to " connect the dots " . It's such a shame that people are not sharing their knowledge more... the collective intelligence of society is so much more than that of any one man... it is a treasure that is sadly ignored. I have come to one conclusion as I think about this... much of the problem is time... people have finite time and energy. They allot their time according to their personal priorities... The above thought has given me an idea. I think it would be a great thing to have an AUDIO CD presentation to give out. My husband, (who loves to read but has no time) has had a wonderful time listening to audiobooks on his drive back and forth to work. He always has a book going in the car. I wouldn't be surprised if someone who doesn't think they have time to watch a presentation would listen to one in the car. I really think an audio presentation might bend some ears. So, instead of locking Dr. Goldberg in Trader Joe's we could let people lock him in the car with themselves. So, there... a captive audience. They can get their own hors d'oeuvres. Guest guest
I, too, am always listening to audiobooks, but on my iPod. It would be so easy (and inexpensive) to have downloadable podcasts of the presentations, and any other info the doctors wanted to share. Guest guest
This is a good idea. A couple of years ago Dr G was on Autism now radio for a 1 1/2 hour interview. i listened to it...it was great info. I will see if I can dig it up and get it in a " good " format > > I, too, am always listening to audiobooks, but on my iPod. Guest guest
Yes, the interview was on Autism One Radio on Tuesday SEP 6, 2005. It is no longer on their website though. May have to contact them to see if they can make it available. > > > > > > I, too, am always listening to audiobooks, but on my iPod.
