Hi everyone,

Well as of today I am on solid food (I was banded on 13th November 08)

and as of my appt yesterday I have lost 17.5kg (yeah me!). I'm doing

good so far and not feeling hungry for snacks and stuff so I will try

and keep focused without it dictating my every move. I feel really

great though. I swear I should have done this 2 yrs ago when I first

looked into it all. Thankyou though to everyone here, I do read

everyones posts and its a fantastic incentive and motivation for me to

see how everyone else is going and moving along with life.

Congratulations Kylie on the great weight loss. Just a reminder that

you are now going onto solid food always remember to chew, chew, chew

your food do not gulp it down. Also if you are out do not try to eat

something that you have not tried at home first always go for the safe

options. When I go somewhere for the first time the thing I always do

is find out where the ladies loo is just in case I need to get there

quick smart because I have a blockage from either eating too fast or

going for the wrong option. Banding is always a learning process and I

am sure these darn bands have a mind of their own.
