Guest guest
Nisha has only had 9 complex partial seizures in her life but 4 of them in the last week. It has been since she was in the heat but hydrated I thought. She has been admitted had IV fluids 3 times. She had maxed out her Trileptal so we weaned off 6 mos ago and started Keppra. 2 Of the seizures were at night. Now I am finding it difficult to sleep and worry myself sick. It does not seem to hurt her cognatively. How can I get her brain to settle down? I just get so scared and anxious. Guest guest
Hi Diane, It's so tough when seizures spiral out of control. That was us in March. , 5, BPP was having 17-20 seizures in a day. I thought it would never stop. But, after a couple doses of Klonapin, and adjusting her medications, she has come back to our little girl. She lost the ability to walk independently during those weeks and all has improved. Hang in there. Things will get better. Her brain will settle down and respond to the meds. Thinking of you- stay strong. , mom to 5 BPP Sent on the Sprint® Now Network from my BlackBerry® Any seizure advice Nisha has only had 9 complex partial seizures in her life but 4 of them in the last week.
