They generally have a return address for the patient that was written or stamped on the envelope. If we were STD’s R Us Clinic – I suppose it could be a big deal to find a patient name in the trash. Safest thing is to just shred it, I suppose. Thoughts? I shred everything with anyone's name on it. Then again, in this office, we LOVE shredding. We have a micro shredder. Shredding everything removes all thought and worry about "to shred or not to shred?".
