Hi Mel

Well here it is the end of 2008, I

have been given a wonderful birthday gift today, yes it is my birthday, I made

it lol...... I had doubts last Saturday night, I can tell you...... I can now

breathe without pain and discomfort........... so for my 55th

birthday, this is a very big bonus for me, a great gift indeed.... I hope you

are starting to feel better soon as well, I think we take feeling good for

granted I KNOW I DO....... when I read of other people’s stories in Bangkok, I

feel very lucky, as ours was horrid enough....

I’ve spent the last 2 days, to and

from the doctors and X ray rooms.

To cut a very long story short, I

have a generalised lung infection in both lungs, thankfully it has not

developed into pneumonia, thank goodness, I am on Steroid Asthma Spray

and antibiotics, so last night was a much more comfortable night..... I have to

have follow up X rays at the end of January, so I hoping the antibiotics clear

this up, otherwise I need to find the person who has my Voodoo Doll and

get it back into safe keeping.....lol......

Tonight I am being rugged up by my

friends and taken out onto their yacht to watch the fireworks on Lake Macquarie

prior to which I am being given a birthday barbeque before we go on the boat,

which is so lovely..... if it gets too much for me, or I start to get cold. I

can go inside the yacht as there are several bunks, I will be taking my

blankets and track suit just in case.

So everyone have a wonderful night

tonight, stay safe and look after yourselves, I plan to be around to annoy you

all for some time to come....
