Sometimes you don't listen to your body and do something for your mental health and then there is pay back. And sometimes it is worth it and sometimes not. I understand Shingles is quite painful to experience and am hoping that you can get through your episode as quickly as possible and back to a state of near normal illness. I know after my neighbors who didn't know I had a health condition, encouraged me to ride my bike a few miles stating that it's mostly downhill after you walk your bike past the first hill. Guest guest Posted August 28, 2008 Report Share Posted August 28, 2008 Hi All Well, been on the banded side of life for 3 weeks now. I was cursing it the first week and even said "Get this thing outta me I wanna eat what I want" although looking back I woudnt change it for the world. I have lost about 14 or so kilos including the optiyuck stage and Im starting to see results. I love my band and its changing my life. My confidence is starting to creep back in. And let me tell you, I still have alot more to lose. But its a great feeling. I have a hens night tomorrow and I hired a costume, And it fit! Its a large costume although I have the confidence to go to a party like that. The girl who is getting married said " I understand if you doesnt wanna come" Thinking I will feel uncomfortable. Its moulin rouge theme and let me tell you- Im going in fishnets and all! My first fill is next week and Im excited.
