Guest guest
**The Profound Connection Between Ritalin Use in Children** **and the Risk of Teen Drug Abuse** Hi --- I am about to release an article on the extensive connection between Ritalin treatment of childhood ADHD and the future risk of teenage drug abuse. I made an announcement a few hours ago to a number of parents. I have already received a lot of feedback, and the article is not even available yet. This seems to be a very sensitive topic. I thought parents in the group might be interested in reading this article also, so I want to make it available to you. If you are interested in seeing this article, please go to: http://addadhdadvances.com/pubbnew.html article If the link doesn't work just paste it or type it into your browser. I just want to preface this article by saying that there is a very profound connection between stimulant medication treatment and the future risk of drug abuse in teens. But most parents are completely unaware of this connection and most people that I have spoken with have it completely wrong. What I have written in this article is well researched and it may change the way you think about treating your ADHD child with stimulant medications. Warmly, Kane, MD
