Guest guest
Hi Shona - Please let us know what the office says. I don't think you have to remove egg whites unless there's eczema but I could be wrong and probably am if yours is real reactive. Is his screen worse, better, or just different positives? Not everyone has to come off gliadin when positive I don't think. One mom posted that her child did well on sprouted grains ... I haven't tried that yet.' Would like to know what the doc says... Guest guest
Shona, I don't know what he'll say about the other things, but Dr. Goldberg did tell us (regarding the significant egg test) that if our son didn't have any problems with eczema not to worry about eggs (so he can still have them). I hope he'll say the same to you! Caroline > From: jordanshona <jordanshona@...> > Reply-< > > Date: Wed, 16 May 2007 01:21:16 +0000 > < > > Subject: questions about food allergy panel > > Hi all! Guest guest
I have heard it's the white part of the egg that causes many of the allergenic problems, but the yolks have all the protein and nutrients. Just thought I'd throw that out there so you can maybe try the yolks. My son is additive-free. At first it was really challenging, b/c he's soy and corn free, too, but I became a food sleuth we found a few of his favorite things that he will eat regularly. You can shop online, if you need to. My favorite mixes come from NamasteFoods.com. We are also fortunate to have Applegate Farms nitrite-free lunch meats, bacon and hot dogs around here. They are very good (they taste 'fresh' if that's possible with processed meats). Good luck! Kristy questions about food allergy panel > > Hi all! Guest guest
I'm still waiting to hear from the office. However, Sky does have horrible eczema like rashes on his arms and face. I'm stressing here......... Shona
Guest guest
His screen seems to be worse than when we did it 4 years ago. I'm at a loss here. Keep us in your prayers... Shona
