Guest guest
Interesting post on sulfur. I have read other posts on this subject and I find that there seems to be some confusion as to what if any toxicity there is with sulfur. I believe some of the confusion is because of a lack of understanding of the differences between organinc and inorganic sulfur. Organinc minerals are the type we use. Organinc minerals are created by plants when they convert inorganic to something mammals can use. Giving sulfur is probably not a good thing to do over a long period of time. There are other ways of giving the body sulfur without the potential for side effects. The best way would be to eat the plants that are high in natural sulfur, like garlic or broccilli sprouts. Other nutrients that contain sulfur are MSM and l-cystiene. Both contain organic sulfur that is easy on the liver. As for controlling fleas, if you do not want to use chemicals or baths one of the best ways is to use diamateous earth. It is finely ground sea shells that coat the insect. It can kill by clogging the pores the insect uses to breathe or when the insect ingests the material,it absorbs the water in the insects body. If is safe and non-toxic.
