Miriam Morales,

I have a 2 year old daughter with bilateral PMG and have been looking into

private schools in Utah for special needs kids. I believe you said your son

attends a school called Pingree... I live in Utah also and would love to talk

more about the services and therapies you have in place for Wyatt and also about

Pingree and how you went about getting him in. Any information and experience

would be helpful. You can write me at jsmmelendez@....

Thanks in advance,

Jodi

> Thanks, I'm happy but scared because the school said that they have never

taken on such a disabled child before... (g-tube, wheelchair, risk of

aspirating, seizures, vision problems, etc) and according to all of their

testing Wyatt tested at a level of 0-3 months.

> They were not going to give Wyatt the slot because the dr said that it should

go to a child that they know will actually benefit from it. That's why they are

giving Wyatt a 2 month trial period. So now here I sit hoping that come fall

they will see that my son belongs in their school. That he can make gains when

placed in the enviorment.

Today I am happy to announce that Wyatt will be attending Pingree it is a

private school for autistic children. He will be attending in fall on a trial

basis, to see if he shows any improvement. The dr did say that Wyatt takes first

place on having the most severe sensory issues he has seen in his 40 yrs of

diagnosing children.
