Re: Itchy Skin

We use something called anti-itch cream with diphenhydramine

hydrochloride (an anti-histamin) in it. Works very quickly for

us. However, if he's been on meds a week I'd be surprised if it's

die off. Maybe, I'm wrong. Sounds like others have experienced

this. We just haven't had that experience. I always worry about

things like allergic reactions to a dye in a medication. Or, maybe

he has the problem my son has....whenever he gets an itchy rash it's

usually always been related to someone forgetting and using dryer

sheets in the laundry. I feel his allergic reactions are increased

by the presence of yeast. I think I read that somewhere. This is

because this is just another thing pressuring the immune system.

And so allergies as well as infections are more common when you are

having yeast problems. Anyways, good luck!

Hi,

our bodies get rid of them. One way our bodies get rid of toxins is

through the pores. Perhaps extra exercise (break a sweat) and extra

water may help? If the itchiness is caused by the antifungal then it

will diminish as his body adjusts.
