This was exactly the reason that i started looking into home health nursing at

that age. I'd resisted it up until then, thinking it wasn't necessary, but to

have someone to watch Maureen while I ran errands was a HUGE help.

I was just wondering the same thing! My daughter is 9months old & get a little

tomheavynfor me to carry her in the infant seat. She is still unable to hold her

head up or sit up. She doesn't like anyone but me either so in home nursing is

out of the question for now & my husband works long crazy hours :( so I'm

definitely looking for advice & suggestions!

Exactly my problem. My son is getting stronger, but can't sit in a shopping

cart. My husband works long hours and my son enjoys the shopping trip. They

improve his mood. It is good for him to go out with me. Julissa

I used and still use an ergo baby carrier. My pt recommended a baby carrier. It

helped him to build neck and trunk strength. He still can't sit up unassisted,

but is getting much closer to it. I used a moby wrap before the ergo, but the

moby wrap can be more challenging because you have to wear it on you before

arriving to the store and it loosens as you wear it.
