Dr Goldberg's stance on the natural antivirals is that

they have proven inneffective in chronic fatigue

research and potentially negative... many of the

natural supplements are known to trigger immune

reactions like food reactions. Therefore advises

against them, and recommends clean pharmaceuticals

instead.

Hi ,

Interesting.... do you have any links for that research?

I don't use natural anti-virals, but I'd be curious to see

the research about it.

Thanks! :-)

Hi -

I can't say if there's anything to find specifically

to the natural antivirals, but I'll look thru my files

to see if I can find one related. I was just

para-phrasing what I previously remember Dr Goldberg

saying was found to be the case in treating Chronic

Fatigue Syndrome patients, in other words, the

clinical experience of some of the other doctors he

works with. He used to mention a lot about how many

of the therapies many would be considered alternative

have been 'recycled', already tried in CFS and other

autoimmune disorders and not found to be particularly

helpful, and in some cases, trigger negatives (be it

simply raised eosiniphils or other allergy), etc.
