Guest guest Posted July 15, 2008 Report Share Posted July 15, 2008 Tim--from what I hear, Vista still has a lot of problems. I would get the XP while you can on your laptop. I Heard from my computer tech that Microsoft just stopped giving updates or support (can't remember what he said) for XP because they want to encourage people to buy Vista. I initially bought a Dell laptop with Vista in the fall, and returned it because of major problems with Vista. I subsequently bought a Sony VAio SZ laptop and like it except on of the keys on the keyboard broke. I uninstalled the Vista and installed the XP discs that it came with . Hope this helps.
