White sandwich bread is okay (according to Dr G as I recall) becuase it is bleached. Alright, what about pretzels? Guest guest
I thought Dr. G didn't like spelt--am I wrong on this? Also, Ener-G has really good wheat-free, dairy-free pretzels. Guest guest
You are right, thanks for the correction. Re: Dairy Free Diet? Bleached Flour is okay? Ghee isn't " dairy " free -- but it is technically *casien " free. > > > Hey: What kind of margarine are you folks all using. > > I have been using Smart Balance for years, when I > > just recently noticed " whey " . Guest guest
I've been told that spelt does have gluten, but I could be wrong. Barb Ps: Dr. G doesn't rec. using the special products (low gluten) very much, as he feels that they tend to upset the immune system, also. --- nancy ballard <atlantickayaker@...> wrote: > awesome thanks! Guest guest
Barb yes, Spelt does have gluten - its one of the oldest forms of wheat. We tried it once for our son in an effort to perhaps start to re-introduce milder forms of gluten....he threw up an hour later all over my sister's back yard! R Re: Re: Dairy Free Diet?
