Guest guest
Nana, I know how frustrating it is to be suffering with pain and fatigue and all blood work comes back normal. I would guess that has happened to most of us with CFS and / or Fibro. When my neurologist put me on Prednisone for pain, he explained it that the Prednisone hopefully stops the inflammation which is a cause of the pain. The first time he put me on it was for severe daily migraines. I didn't have much hope that it would help, but fortunately it did. Hope it works for you. Guest guest
I just take 4mg Pred at the first sign of a flare and i dont take much, just 1 4mg tab am/pm for 2-3 days and then stop and my flare stops. I'm glad it works like that but I also know the dangers of being on it for too long so it's just for those type of emergencies Whitney > I too have taken prednisone in my early years of fibromyalgia and > recently had tried it again.
