Guest guest
This may not be too helpful, but it may give you an idea of " target " dosing. When we switched from Prozac to Paxil last summer, Dr G did the exact same dose of each one. So age 6 1/2, 50 lbs he was on 1 whole Pax a day. I thought it was too high, and a much better dose for my son is 3/4 tab (10 mg tablets). If it were me I would start at 1/4, and increase to a 1/2 after a week, and then " tweak " from there up to 5/8, or 3/4 or even back down to 1/4 if you saw good things. But that is just my opinion/expereince with our ssri changes. Guest guest
Hi - Thanks ... that was my plan, but I wasn't too sure I wasn't starting out too low. Seems how I had remembered it. So that's what I'll do. The neurologist gave me that choice ... just couldn't remember exactly how it went for sure. Thanks- --- meljackmom <meljackmom@...> wrote: > This may not be too helpful, but it may give you an > idea of " target " > dosing.
