Greetings From Koh Lahta In Thailand...... Cross Post

Hi Everyone

Well Larry and I are now onto Day 7 of our trip around the islands Of

Thailand..... we are ahving an absoloute ball, the weather has been a

bit iffy at times but still very nice...

we started on the Island of Racha yai, which was very lovely, we did

snorkelling, but I got very sea sick, ended up in throwing up in the water

and fed the fish, all while Larry was blissfully swimming around, I

accidentally swallowed some salt water and that was the beginning of

the end of the fun.... So I was haukled back into the speed boat, how

those guys dragged my gig carcass up into the boat I will never know,

for I was ll but down for the count....

That night i decdied to electrocute myself, when I was charging my

phone, I put the charger into the power point, and whammo, I copped a

bloody painful shock, so the phone was not charged till the next

Island.....

When we left that island of Phukett, we went by speedboat back to the

malnland, amd encountered a rough crossng, I was not sea sick, but we

were drenched to the skin, my bag has only just started to dry out, and

we left there 2 days ago.....

My sandals absolutley stink, so these are going into the garbage

tomorrow,

I cannot stand the smell any longer, these stay otside mow

The last 2 nights we were at Krabi, in lovely bunglaows, and our room

was decked out in PURPLE lol.... you would have loved this mazz...

While there we went to The Elephant Place and rode an Elephant trough

the jungle, it was brilliant, the young kid managing the elephant, well if

yu can call it that, for the elehphant kept taking off, doing his own thing,

it was hilarious, we were then told by the young kid, to get out of our

seat, and ride in the the head of the Elephant behind his ears, I hung on

for grim death but i9t was such good fun and we have photos to prove

we did this, prior to the walk we went to a Catfish farm, are they gross,

we swam in a lagoon creek, with rapids and that was fun too....

Yesterday we went across to Phi Phi Island, saw where the movie The

Beach was made, went snorkelling, I chose NOT to drink the water this

time.... so was OK......

Today we have come across to Koh Lanta Island, which is nice, we have

walked along the beach, tomorrow we are just going to explore the

island, my knee has been giving me a bit of grief, as I hurt it getting

back into the boat after snorkelling yesterday

We are here for 2 nights, then head to our final island, not sure which it

is, I've finally gt my clothes being washed, as they were wet for 2 days

and STANK..... I also want to do some shoppimg, yes Larry is letting me

lol..... I think he wants to buy something, the food has been great, love

the shakes, coconnt is my favourite....

Well if this has been hard to read I am sorry, I am using a keyboard

wiht the english letters Totally Gone, I am doing much by memoery lol...

SO SORRY for any mistakes, I am being charge 2 baht a minute, but

wanted t check in with you all. There is apparently some coup going on

in Bangkok, but we are oblivouis to what is happening, so lng as the

airport is OK for next Saturday afternoon.........

Well my lovelys, I will see you all next Sunday at Trish's for the CCB

peole for the Sydney, crowd see you the week later..... I really don't

want this to end, it's been wonderful....................... :-(

We are with a good group, pommies mainly, 3 US People and us two.. 2

UK old blokes just hit the bar, stay there fall out at night and will eat

only fish and chips..... HOW BORING........ but they are pleasant, last

night we had a domino marathon, we laughed as Sue kept changing the

rules as she went........... has anyone heard of making Chicken Feet in

Dominos.... I certainly had not...
