I'm really feeling symptoms of low cortisol and was self-treating with the herbal Isocort, but have been off that for almost a year now and sticking with doctors recommendations only. I was wondering if someone can help me understand these labs better? These are all blood draw at 2:24 PM on 12/7/07 Free T3 = 3.9 (Ref Range 2.3-4.2) Free T4 = 1.32 (Ref Range 0.73-1.95) TSH = <0.1 (Ref Range 0.3-5.1) DHEA Sulfate = 131 (Ref Range 35-430) Cortisol, Random = 4 (Ref Range 2-25) I had asked for my cortisol to be tested, and with the results, the doc stated that the cortisol was okay because my DHEA was up from 55 at the last test on 5/24/07.
