Guest guest
Hi Lalima, We've been with Dr. Goldberg for 3 years. My son was 3 when we started. He is 6 now. We'll be going to see Dr. Goldberg for the 4th time this spring. We go once a year, but this is not a requirement. We have the means to do it and I feel more comfortable with Dr. Goldberg actually seeing him once a year. For the rest of the year, we have phone consultations once every 4 to 6 weeks. I will warn you that insurance does not like to cover this, but they are so valuable. I also send weekly emails on my sons progress. We also have a blood draw once every 6 weeks or so. All of these things are necessary as a precaution. Dr. Goldberg prescribes a number of medicines and he is very careful. The labwork (blood draw) is to make sure the medicine is effective and not causing harm. The emails are for the same reason. I don't think Dr. Goldberg will not work with patients long distance unless they cooperate with this. He only prescribes the medicines for one month at a time so that he can monitor things very closely. I for one, greatly appreciate the precautions he takes. It IS scary to give 5+ prescriptions to a very young child. He is so very careful and knowledgeable though that I don't worry about it anymore. His judgement has proven right time after time. I hope that this helps. April
