rebecca, you are SO right on about dan and nids (protocols). i myself am on

more than 7 list groups (i love knowledge!). i hear hundreds of replys

from parents who have reached various levels of " success " with their

child(ren).

there really is no ONE WAY to " recovery " . the " cookie cutter " protocols

work for a few sub-group of children.

basically, our children are all different (bio medically speaking). yet,

there are similarities. some have been helped with nids, others chelation,

others suppliments, others herbal. so what? bottom line: do what helps the

children!!!

viruses and metals do appear to be a common problem in our children. how to

address these issues is a bigger problem. i really wish autism docs would

get together and instead of disagreeing with each other, realize that various

methods will work for some and not others. doesnt mean that for those

children the protocol didnt work for is a bad protocol.

parents, get help for your child regardless of the disagreements stated in

protocols. read and research as much as possible. make an informed decision.

help my autistic son. Thank you!
