Guest guest
Hi Candi, My son loves Smuckers sugar-free apricot preserves, which Dr. G has said is OK. I wonder about apple jelly--I've seen it on the shelves but never tried it...anyone know how it is? Guest guest
Hi Candi, If you have a Trader Joe's in your area, they have low-sugar apricot preserves that are delicious. They have 6 grams of sugar instead of the usual 13 or 14 that you'll find in regular jams, and of course, they're also not made of berries! Also, you might want to try peach jam if you can find it. I've read that grapes are among the least allergenic fruits, but I've always been afraid to try grape jelly. Too much purple. Donna > > Hi All, > Is there any jelly/jam that is OK? Guest guest
I've never tried the apple jelly because of the sugar, but I bet it's good. Apple butter -- there are several without added sugar -- is also a nice jam/jelly alternative, and my son loves it. It makes a nice cranberry sauce substitute for turkey, too! Guest guest
We use low-sugar Smucker's grape, not sugar-free because we don't like aspartame. It has 5 grams of sugar in a tbsp. I also like that I can just get it at a regular grocery store. JELLY/JAM > Hi All, > Is there any jelly/jam that is OK?
