Rob - there are dads there are dads

I have read Robs message regarding christmas and his son ignoring his

messages, i feel for you, as there are men out there that dont give a

rates arse.

i would like share this with you, i have a beautiful young

granddaughter by the name of , who would love to have seen her

dad on Christmas Day, or for that any day.

She never sees him, only if the mother ring him and asks him to come

visit ....................she is now 3 and has seen her dad

about 6 times in all that time..............she talkes about him all

the time and tells everyone that her daddy is at work...........when

in fact he just doesnt want to be a dad, he is 42 and she is his

first born child.......he admits that his family would just love to

know that he has a child.............but he hasnt told

them...........what a wanker his he.

He meet her at her Preschool on the day of her birthday give her a

present and then left...........most likely to go to the

pub..........which has more attraction for him then her.

My other daughter had a young friend commit suicide 3 weeks

ago.......her mother had died 16 months ago and knew that her husband

wouldnt want to look after her daughter, who was 19 at this time.

She had put some money in trust for her daughter............knowing

that she was dying of Cancer. Once she died, the husband tried to

sue the girl........... She has now killed herself...........

What a waste, yet my daughter is suffereing because she was so close

to this girl, who had left 4 letters, one of them for my daughter. i

have been on leave to make sure that my daughter is ok.

Rob I feel your hurt and do understand just how you are suffering,

just as i feel the hurt of my daughter, my grand daughter and the

family that had taken in the young girl when her mother died.

You are a very caring dad, dont change, but dont knock youself about

also, you just by sending messages and gifts show that you are there,

keeep bing there.
