Guest guest
Hi everyone, I am still new to actually using this protocol for my son, but have known about it for a couple of years. My son is 8 yrs. old. He is somewhat verbal but not conversational. He is on diflucan and valtrex. Some positives I have noted: He is much more with it. He is talking in longer phrases. Saturday the in-home-trainer came to work with him. She had a huge stack of flash cards. She was only going to do a certain amount, but my son only saw a huge stack of cards. During the middle of the flash cards he said " Sharon, how many more? " I could not believe it. He very rarely asks questions. Only to ask where a video is. Also, the teacher last week after he finished a worksheet gave him a tiny piece of a peppermint. He said " is that all? " I did not tell the in-home-trainer about going to Dr. or the teacher because I wanted an unbiased opinion of him. I did tell the in-home-trainer after she said how well he is doing lately about nids. I am very happy with my son's progress. I hope it continues. It is very subtle, but definately progress. Plus he is at a good school now, and he has a great in-home-trainer that works with the school. The only negative I noticed was a very mild die off the first week on diflucan. He was giggly more tantrums and less focused. He just started the valtrex and I don't think he has been on it long enough for negatives or positives. Also, I want to say that I really like Dr. and all of his staff. They are very nice.
