Guest guest
, I hate to say it, but he only way we had luck was continuing to try antihistamines until we found one that worked. We've got one boy on D DAllergy (2x a day) and the other on Allegra (1 x a day) (plus both on Nasacort and Astelin). One more thought.... could there be inflammation in his throat/tonsils? It might make it harder for things to drain out and stay clear. When we finally got my littlest one's stuffiness under control, his chronic waxy right ear cleared up. Guest guest
What is D Allergy? We've tried all the prescription stuff I thought we could find on the market, and my 13 yo is still always stuffy. I'm about ready to rip up all of the carpeting in his room and put in a wood or linoleum flooring. I don't know what else to do. It never seems to go away. He also has polyps and a deviated septum in one nose which doesn't help. --- Caroline Glover <sfglover@...> wrote: > , > > I hate to say it, but he only way we had luck was > continuing to try > antihistamines until we found one that worked. > We've got one boy on D > DAllergy (2x a day) and the other on Allegra (1 x a > day) (plus both on > Nasacort and Astelin). > > One more thought.... could there be inflammation in > his throat/tonsils? Guest guest
Barb, Here's a link regarding DAllergy Jr. (by the way, I just figured out that if you search for it with a space between the " D " and " Allergy " it's not too easy to find). It is a prescription drug. http://www.drugs.com/mtm/d/dallergy_jr.html I think my oldest has a polyp, and years on every treatment known to man have not cleared it up. Do they ever go away on their won? caroline > From: Barb Katsaros <barbkatsaros@...> > Reply-< > > Date: Sat, 25 Mar 2006 13:09:55 -0800 (PST) > < > > Subject: Re: Questions about Sinus Infections > > What is D Allergy? Guest guest
I have had great success clearing my sinus infections with homeopathic remedies. It works like a miracle for me. Guest guest
I have also had much success with homeopathic nasal spray for my 3yr old. Of course, diet is a trigger for him (dairy in particular). I've also noticed that playing in sand causes nasal drip/stuffiness. I've not isolated whether it's the sand particulates, dust or viruses in the sand that cause the problem. We just try to avoid it!
