Well wishers are invited to give Ed and Luke a send-off on their Amazon adventure. Saturday 2nd February 2008 from 7.00 p.m. until late. Venue HMS President, Embankment, London. Cost £50 includes champagne reception, supper and live music from MantecaThe profits will be shared equally and at least £15 of each ticket sold will go towards The ME Association's research funds, earmarked for researching the causes of ME/CFS. Now not many people may be able to afford the £50 a ticket for this plus also the cost of getting to London. It is good that £15 is going to research, so why not expand on this?My suggestion is anyone who cannot make the event but has £15 to spare, use it for research, send it to The CFS Research Foundation, 2, The Briars, Sarratt, Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire WD3 6AU, gift aided it can be worth even more. Leading from the front as usual this is what I am doing in addition to my usual monthly donation. I also have gift aid slips should anyone else wish to follow my example.
