Update from Gail - I'm not a bandit any more :(

Hi guys

Thought I'd better give you all a little update on my adventure for

the week. Well I've just returned home after being admitted to St

Private yesterday afternoon with a slipped band. The end

result was that my surgeon Dr J had to remove my band, as I'm one of

the " lucky " people that doesn't form adhesions after surgery. The

band didn't anchor into place properly because of this and therefore

there was a high likelihood of it slipping again.

And I did go out with a bang though, quite literatlly!! Managed to

get myself to the hospital in a cab only to collapse from the pain as

I walked through the front door.

Its weird though as I still have my access port. I'm probably going

to convert to a sleeve in a few months time once things have settled

down and he will remove it then.

Anyway I'm off to sleep off my second anaethestic of the week (had my

colononscopy and the first gastroscopy on Monday).
