hello!

I'm updating a few things in preparation for our trip to CA in June.

A few years ago, a few of us got together and created

a file on Traveling to California. The former listowners didn't want to

use

this file, so I've just kept it locally, updating it as we visit.

weighed in on Intel travelers.

The rest of us did traveling from other states.

It's time to update this puppy -

I'm going to have to update the info on the Neurospect facility

since that's changed. I'd like to add info on Dr Uzler if anyone has that.

Does anyone have any information on activites in / around the LA area?

tourist traps errrr sites? Safe places to eat? Places to stay?

Things to do?

Please email me the information and I will add it to the file.

When everything has been added, I'll email copies to interested folks.

Now don't just send me the website for California tourism :-)

if you do, highlight where you've been and your opinion of them.

For instance, when I was a little girls centuries ago in a one room

school house,

we learned about the La Brea Tar pits. Guess where they are located?

Los Angelos!

The other year we decided to by for a visit.....

was studying dinosaurs that year in school.

They were ok but not quite what I expected. I always thought the pits

had prehistoric creatures trapped in them .. not so.

Sibertooth tigers and mammoths but no dinosaurs.

and the exhibit is something like $7 person to get in.

I have found out tho that spending $10-25 for the Entertainment book

has come in handy and a AAA discount can go a long way!

Not to mention the Hertz Gold Club membership and a car with GPS
