I'm still on the prednisone 15mg a day for 1 more wk. then I see rheumy again and tapper off or stop, however its done. Although, I have to say it seems to of helped the jaw pain and the plantar facsitis. But, not the nerve pain or the fibro. I have yet to get the rest of the bloodwork she ordered (HEP-A,B,C,ANTICENTROMERE,ANTISMOOTH Mus.Antibody andanti mitrochondrail antibody) Whatever all that is. But, I am a retired RN. who worked at a state IL. mental health facility for 10yrs. I was vacinated for hep.b. while there. I see the pain specalist on Wed. shes either going to help more w/ the pain control or I find a DR. who will, I'm fed up w/ her attitude. Liver enzymes have been ^ for a long time now. Chalked it up to statins for the chol. and tri. Been on Zetia for about 8wks. now and you know what was in the news about that this past wk.,my PCP said to stay on it for now. Damned if you do and damned if you don't!!!! I wish the med. comm. out there would give a break and give all of us the respect we deserve. Will check in again soon.
