Guest guest
Hi again , To answer your question on BayGam... Others may want to chime in here...as I am certainly not as well versed as others on the list, however here goes my armchair explanation... BayGam is a human blood product that is filled with antibodies. Dr. G uses this as an IM injection, approximately every 3 weeks, to help boost our kids immune system function. Usually when there is high viral activity as in the case with my son, it helps give their immune systems a bit of a boost per say...Talk about taking it down to the bare bones!?! For a far more eloquent explanation, you might want to a search in the archives. There have been many discussions on the topic over the years, and I am sure in far more detail then my brain and fingers are allowing right now. Best of luck. Guest guest
We used Baygam for almost 2 years and we believe that it was a major contributor to bringing our sons' immune panel (CD4/CD8, NK and B cell) counts back to normal, where they have remained for the last 2 years. (We used FamVir and Kutapressin at first, then introduced Baygam and continued it for almost a year after Kutapressin stopped being produced) In our second neurospect last year, 3 years after the first, we observed " restoration of blood perfusion to the left temporal lobe " .. This is very significant as this area has a lot to do with speech. Today, a speech pathologist who had been working with my son here up until a year ago, came back from Tibet (where she had been working with very poor families) for a break (and some warm air) and came in to see us..she was astonished at the progress made with our sons language, joint attention and desire to converse.. he was asking her about the things shown in pictures in a calendar form there..like yaks!
